Experiences
This page highlights everything about all my college experiences. This includes volunteering, campus involvement, and anything premed-related.
Reflection
From high school to college, I knew I wanted to give back in a way I knew best, which is through service and becoming involved in my community. That is what I have done through developing leadership skills, finding a cause I am passionate about, and essentially becoming a better advocate. Discussion of topics such as fundraising for children, raising awareness of issues of healthcare around the world, and reducing food waste are important to talk about. These experiences will carry over in my future career as a physician. I push to not only advocate for my future patients but continue this passion I have for giving back to them. As a future doctor, I want to lead, advocate, and raise awareness.
University of Central Florida Acceptance (2018)
On March 19, 2018, I received my acceptance to UCF as a Health Sciences Pre-Clinical Major. I was accepted to the ACCESS Program during Summer B 2018. I also went in Florida Bright Futures Medallion Scholars Scholarship.
Phi Delta Epsilon (FL Beta Chapter) (2019-Present)
During Spring 2019, I rushed into a pre-medical fraternity called Phi Delta Epsilon. Till now, I thank this fraternity for not only providing me the knowledge to get into medical school, but it gave me a family of future doctors and friends. I was also appointed VP of Recruitment from January 2020-March 2020.
Buddy Ball (2019-Present)
Apart from clinical volunteering at Arnold Palmer, I also did Buddy Ball with some of my friends in Phi Delta Epsilon. In Buddy Ball, we helped play baseball with special needs children. It's one of my favorite experiences.
Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital (2019-2020)
Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital is my favorite place to volunteer at. I am on the pediatric floor, and I help however I can with the kids. Whether if it's changing their bed sheets or playing with them in the playroom, it's a fun and humbling experience.

Fundraising for Knight-Thon Events (2019-2020)
During the Spring 2019 semester, we fundraised money for our Knight-Thon team through the events of Color Wars and So You Think You Can Morale. This money went through the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals of Orlando. Even during the pandemic and Fall 2019, I helped raise money to help these children in need.
Food Recovery Network (2020-Present)
In Fall 2020, I applied for an executive board position of secretary to this organization. Food Recovery Network is a student-run organization that brings awareness to food waste and how we can prevent it from happening on campus. We come up with creative ways to do this not only in UCF, but in the Orlando area.

Second Harvest Food Bank (2021-Present)
In Second Harvest Food Bank, I prepared food for the homeless in the packaging center. These meals were then packaged.
Friends of MSF/Doctors Without Borders (2021-Present)
In the Fall of 2021, my friends and I had an amazing idea of starting a pre-health RSO. We made it come to life in September 2021. Friends of MSF advocate for health crises around the world as well as spread the idea of humanitarian medicine. I am the cofounder as well as the president of this club.
